I am an advocate for Native American nations in both New Jersey and Montana, and would welcome the opportunity to expand my connections in other areas of the United States (and Canada).
As a member of the board of directors of the New Jersey Folk Festival for about a decade, I focused on promoting awareness of the existence, history, and culture of New Jersey’s Native American nations. My efforts culminated in New Jersey’s Native American nations being the focus community of the 2018 New Jersey Folk Festival, and through my contacts in the Apsaalooke Native American Nation in Montana, I was able to engage a leading Native American rapper and hip-hop artist, Supaman, to be the festival’s headliner that year.
I would be interested in speaking to groups/schools about New Jersey’s Native American nations.
